### Steps

1.  <a id="step_N10030_N1002D_N1001E_N10001"></a>Create the custom app you want use to start your custom business process event.
2.  <a id="step_N10039_N1002D_N1001E_N10001"></a>Create the custom task you want to use start your custom business process event. You must indicate the app, route, and site of your custom app.

    Use this custom task as the initiating action when you create your custom business process type.

3.  <a id="step_N10046_N1002D_N1001E_N10001"></a>Create the custom apps you want to use to view and edit your custom business process events. Example: Approvals, Event Details, and Revise actions.

    You must use {eventId} at the end of your route.

4.  <a id="step_N1004F_N10021_N1001E_N10001"></a>Use the specified apps, routes, and sites in the eventTaskDefinitions POST operation.
