### Context

To help with debugging a page error, use the <b>Logs</b> tab on the <b>Analytics</b> dashboard or on the selected app from <b>Apps</b>. A page error displays a message that includes a common request ID, which identifies log entries associated to a client request.

Example page error with the common request ID:

```

<b>Note:</b> In some cases, the common request ID uses the `WCPUI` prefix.

### Steps

1.  <a id="step_N10039_N10036_N1001E_N10001"></a>Copy the common request ID from the page error message.

    Example: `VPS|5a438101-0f47-4cfa-a3a5-a84c13c3252b`

2.  <a id="step_N10049_N10036_N1001E_N10001"></a>From the <b>Console</b> section of the Workday Developer Site, select <b>Analytics</b>.

    Alternatively, select your app from <b>Apps</b>.

3.  <a id="step_N10056_N10036_N1001E_N10001"></a>Select the <b>Logs</b> tab.
4.  <a id="step_N10063_N10036_N1001E_N10001"></a>Add a filter on the `wd_common_request_id` field. Paste the common request ID from the page error.

    Example:

    `wd_common_request_id is VPS|5a438101-0f47-4cfa-a3a5-a84c13c3252b`

5.  <a id="step_N1009F_N10036_N1001E_N10001"></a>Optionally add more log filters.

    Example: You can add the filter `wd_category is console` to find the PMD Scripting logging messages written by your app.



### Result

You can expand the filtered log entries to see the details in the log fields. To update the logs, refresh your browser.
