## <a id="section_e5z_rsc_kvb"></a>id

(Required) A PMD root proprety that identifies the PMD. Ensure the `id` is unique for the app and matches the PMD file name. The `id` displays in the URI path of the page URLs.

`id` must start with a letter, and must contain only letters, numbers, and underscores.

## <a id="section_mzg_tsc_kvb"></a>endPoints

A list of inbound endpoints that fetch the data to display on the widgets. Each endpoint uses the HTTP GET method by default.

Use `endPoints` on view and edit pages.

See [endPoints](/wcp_docs/ujr1530565661647.html) for details.

## <a id="section_hss_d5c_kvb"></a>include

A list of script modules to load with the PMD.

A script module is a `.script` file in the `presentation/scripts` folder of the custom app, and contains PMD scripts that the PMD can call.

When the PMD loads an included script module, its exported static variables and function declarations become accessible to the PMD. The PMD can invoke any of the exported scripts from the loaded script modules.

Use `include` on view and edit pages.

See [include](/wcp_docs/hrh1604896806152.html) for details.

## <a id="section_xc5_tsc_kvb"></a>presentation

(Required) The main subschema of the PMD that contains all visual components of a page. The `presentation` property contains the header, body, and footer of a page.

Use `presentation` on view and edit pages.

See [presentation](/wcp_docs/xax1529989124469.html) for details.

## <a id="section_y3k_zzc_kvb"></a>onLoad

An event that triggers after all inbound endpoints have finished fetching data and before loading any widget on the page.

Use the `onLoad` event handler to transform data to a desired format before the widgets consume the data.

Use `onLoad` on view and edit pages.

See [onLoad](/wcp_docs/tgy1581495452394.html#section-onload) for details.

## <a id="section_ixq_zzc_kvb"></a>onSubmit

An event that triggers when the user clicks the <b>OK</b> button on an edit page.

Use `onSubmit` only on edit pages.

See [onSubmit](/wcp_docs/tgy1581495452394.html#section-onsubmit) for details.

## <a id="section_g25_qbd_kvb"></a>outboundData

A list of outbound endpoints and variables that persist data from the page widgets.

Use `outboundData` only on edit pages.

See [outboundData](/wcp_docs/wyu1529974688254.html) for details.

## <a id="section_smp_c5c_kvb"></a>script

A multiline script enclosed by the `<% %>` notation.

In a `script` block, use the PMD Scripting syntax to declare functions that the PMD widgets can call. The functions you declare in the script block are available to all widgets within the same PMD.

Use `script` on view and edit pages.

See [script](/wcp_docs/qym1582079304631.html) for details.

## <a id="section_wmj_4bd_kvb"></a>securityDomains

A list of security domains that grant or block access to a page. These security domains are model components within the app.

<b>Note:</b> Because Workday doesn't apply contextual security to the pages of an app, we recommend that you use only unconstrained role-based security groups for page security. Constrained security on the pages of an app is derived from the endpoint authentication scheme.

To enable a security domain for page security, open the `.securitydomain` file and set the `enabledForPageSecurity` property to true.

You can specify a maximum of 3 security domains on a page.

Use `securityDomains` on view and edit pages.

See [securityDomains](/wcp_docs/dvw1628813465101.html) for details.
