### Context

<a id="context_N10021_N1001E_N10001"></a>
Workday Extend enables you to download OpenAPI documents for your orchestrations. You can use these documents to work with third-party systems as you build and test external apps that connect to orchestrations.

### Steps

1. <a id="step_N1002B_N10028_N1001E_N10001"></a>Add a <b>Synchronous</b> or <b>Asynchronous</b> orchestration to your app.
2. <a id="step_N10034_N10028_N1001E_N10001"></a>Build your orchestration as you normally would. Drag and drop steps on to the canvas, and define input and output parameters in the start and end steps of your orchestration.
3. <a id="step_N1003D_N10028_N1001E_N10001"></a>Save your app to App Hub.
4. <a id="step_N10046_N10028_N1001E_N10001"></a>On the <b>Settings</b> (gear) tab of Orchestration Builder, click <b>Download OpenAPI</b>.

### Result

<a id="result_N10054_N1001E_N10001"></a>
Extend downloads the OpenAPI document to your local drive.

### Next Steps

<a id="postreq_N1005B_N1001E_N10001"></a>
Export the OpenAPI document to a third-party system or upload it into any existing API tool (such as Postman) to help you build and test your app.
