## <a id="section_m3p_myb_5db"></a>Description

Sorts the elements of the list and returns the new sorted list. This function converts the elements into strings, then compares their sequences of UTF-8 code unit values. Note that this function isn't an in-place sort algorithm. Your original list remains the same after sorting.

`[1, 3, 2, 5, 4].sort()`

Returns `[1, 2, 3, 4, 5]`
