Orchestration Builder is Workday's tool for orchestrating real-time event-driven processes across Workday and other external systems. The processes you create with Orchestration Builder are called orchestrations.

Orchestration Builder features:

-   Real-time API integration: orchestrations use event-based and transactional integrations. You don't need to batch these integrations.
-   A simple authoring experience: Orchestration Builder has a clean, user-friendly drag and drop interface, lowering the technical bar to achieving useful results.
-   Lightweight integrations: Orchestration Builder's powerful data manipulation and transformation features are built for speed.
-   Data accessibility: the data you bring into your orchestration is automatically available everywhere in that orchestration. You can mix JSON and XML together.
-   Expression Builder: a low-code solution for function and condition manipulation.


To enable the dark UI theme in Orchestration Builder, click the moon icon in the bottom left corner. The UI theme you select in Orchestration Builder also applies to App Builder.
