### Prerequisites

<a id="prereq_N1002C_N10029_N10001"></a>
-   Workday Extend Development tenant.
-   Workday mobile app.
-   Permission to update the <b>Tenant</b> and <b>Web Address</b> settings on the Workday mobile app. Check with your Mobile Device Management administrator regarding any MDM restrictions.
-   A custom task that runs your custom Extend app on the Development tenant.

    -   Select the <b>Enable for Mobile App</b> setting on the custom task.
    -   If you want the custom task to launch the default page of the custom app, specify <b>/</b> on <b>Route Path</b>.



### Context

<a id="context_N10056_N10029_N10001"></a>
This procedure describes how you can test your custom app with a custom task on the Workday mobile app.

<b>Note:</b> If a page contains a widget that isn't mobile-enabled, the mobile app user can navigate to the page in the mobile browser. The list of PMD tags on [Reference: PMD Tags](/wcp_docs/dyg1528862158582.html) indicates which widgets are mobile-enabled. The list specifies `mobile` next to the PMD tag if the widget is mobile-enabled. In addition, if a PMD tag is mobile-enabled, its tag documentation includes a <b>Mobile Support</b> section.

### Steps

1.  <a id="step_N10060_N1005D_N10029_N10001"></a>Open the Workday app on your mobile device.
2.  <a id="step_N10069_N1005D_N10029_N10001"></a>On the sign-in page, click the <b>gear</b> icon at the top.
3.  <a id="step_N10076_N1005D_N10029_N10001"></a>Enter this information:

4.  <a id="step_N1009E_N1005D_N10029_N10001"></a>Click <b>Save</b>.
5.  <a id="step_N100AB_N1005D_N10029_N10001"></a>Sign in to the tenant.
6.  <a id="step_N100B4_N1005D_N10029_N10001"></a>Select the <b>Apps</b> icon at the bottom, and select <b>Custom Apps</b>.
7.  <a id="step_N100C1_N1005D_N10029_N10001"></a>Select the custom task that opens your custom app.


### Result

The Workday mobile app opens the custom task.
