Because the model components of the app deploy to the tenant as part of Workday's Weekly Service Update, you must promote your app before a weekly deadline for new or updated model components to deploy to your Workday tenant.

This promotion deadline depends on:

- Your Workday [Extend region](/wcp_docs/dlh1653340161856.html).
- The [Workday Data Center](https://community.workday.com/articles/29946) that hosts your tenant.

<table><thead><tr><th>Extend Region</th><th>Tenant Data Center</th><th>Promotion Deadline</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>United States</td><td>Workday data center (WD<i>x</i>).</td><td>Thursday at 11:59:59 PM <b>Pacific time</b>.</td></tr><tr><td>United States</td><td>Public cloud data center: <ul><li>WD10
</li><li>WD12
</li><li>WD104
</li></ul></td><td>Thursday at 11:59:59 PM <b>Pacific time</b>.</td></tr><tr><td>United States</td><td>All other public cloud data centers (WD<i>xx</i> or WD<i>xxx</i>).</td><td>Thursday at 08:59:59 AM <b>Pacific time</b>.</td></tr><tr><td>International</td><td>All data centers.</td><td>Thursday at 11:59:59 PM <b>in the local time zone of your Extend region</b>.</td></tr></tbody></table><br/>

When you promote an app before the promotion deadline, the model components deploy to the tenant during the Weekly Service Update on the Friday night after you promote the app.

When you promote an app after the promotion deadline, Workday schedules the model components to deploy to the tenant during the Weekly Service Update on the Friday night 1 week after you promote the app.
