### Context

You can use the Business Process and Custom Business Process REST APIs to manage custom business process events.

### Steps

1. Make a GET request in the businessProcess service to return all of the comments associated with a business process event.

Example: `GET https://api.workday.com/businessProcess/v1/events/{id}/comments`

The response can include the business process comments that display as the Send Back reason on the Approval page of the business process. Example:

```
{
"total": 1,
"data": [
{
"person": {
"descriptor": "Steve Morgan",
"id": "{id}"
},
"comment": "This is the send back reason.",
"commentDate": "2018-08-20T19:46:27.403Z"
}
]
}
```

You can include these comments in the Presentation Components page for the Revise eventTaskDefinition of a custom business process.

2. (Optional) If you enabled Send Back and configured a Revise eventTaskDefinition, you can make a submitRevise POST request in the customBusinessProcess service for the event you created to move the workflow forward.

Example: `POST https://api.workday.com/customBusinessProcess/v1/events/{eventID}/submitRevise`
