### Context

You can use an Integration System User (ISU) account to authenticate access to data as a system user instead of a human user. The App Manager task in your tenant enables you to assign an ISU to your app and create an API client for that ISU. Thereafter, you can configure the ISU authentication in orchestrations and pages that call Workday APIs.
