## Purpose

Use this component to evaluate a condition or set of conditions. If the result of the evaluation is `true`, the orchestration continues. If the result is `false`, the orchestration stops and Orchestration Builder logs the specified message.

## <a id="d40e130"></a>Properties

Provide a meaningful <b>Reference Name</b> for the step as it will appear in your orchestration.

Provide an <b>Assertion</b> to test and a <b>Message</b> to log when the assertion evaluates to `false`. You can test multiple assertions.
