### Context

You can create an outbound EIB to export data in bulk from your Extend App business objects to an external endpoint. You configure your EIB to get data from the custom report that contains the data you want to extract.

### Steps

1. Verify that you’ve enabled your custom report as a web service.

To enable your report as a web service:

    1. Access the Edit Custom Report task.
    2. In the Web Services Options section on the Advanced tab, select the Enable As Web Service check box.

2. Set up the outbound EIB.
    1. Enter the name for the EIB integration system and select Outbound.
    2. As you complete the Get Data page, select:

        - Custom Report as the Data Source Type.
        - Your custom report on the Custom Report prompt. The custom report that you select is the one that uses Extend App business objects.

    3. (Optional) If you want to convert the data to other formats, select an option in the Details section.
    4. (Optional) If you want to transform the data using XLST, select an option from the Transform page.
    5. As you complete the Deliver page:

        - Select a Delivery Method.
        - Enter the name of the file that Workday extracts.
        - (Optional) Increase the Document Retention Policy (in Days).
        - (Optional) In the Details section, select options for your selected delivery method.

3. Launch or schedule the outbound EIB to extract data from your Extend App business objects:
    1. On the View Integrations Systems page, select Integration > Launch / Schedule from the related actions menu of EIB outbound.

You can't select an integration system with Critical errors.

    2. To run the integration on a schedule, select a frequency from Run Frequency.
    3. On the Schedule an Integration page, accept the default settings.

4. When the EIB completes, select the Output Files tab to view and download the extracted data file.
