title: Create Loop Early Stop Conditions

### Prerequisites

Create an orchestration containing a Loop step.

### Context

Orchestration Builder enables you to end loop iteration when a specified condition is met, rather than when there are no more elements to process. This means you can terminate a loop when it has retrieved all relevant data, increasing efficiency and conserving resources.

### Steps

1. Click the related actions menu on the relevant Loop step and select Create Early Stop Condition.
2. Provide a Reference Name for the Early Stop Condition.
3. In the Early Stop Condition field, use Expression Builder to specify the condition under which loop iteration terminates.

After saving, Orchestration Builder adds an Early Stop Condition icon to the Loop step. Click it to edit the condition.

A loop with an Early Stop Condition creates a boolean output called `did.Stop.Early`, which evaluates to `true` if the loop terminates early because the condition is met.

4. (Optional) To process loop iterations in sequential order rather than in parallel, select the Force Sequential Processing checkbox. The Force Sequential Processing checkbox remains inactive when the Early Stop Condition expression field contains the value `false`.

Note: Forcing sequential processing can significantly increase processing time for the orchestration and may cause a timeout that would not otherwise have occurred.

5. To delete an Early Stop Condition, click the related actions menu on the relevant Loop step and select Delete Early Stop Condition.
