### Prerequisites

You must be a Workday Extend Professional customer to provision a Workday-provided AWS account for your Extend company.

Note: You must subscribe to Innovation Services to use Extend Integration with Third Party Platform Services. Contact your Customer Success Manager to request the Innovation Services Addendum (ISA), or see [Workday Innovation Services](https://community.workday.com/articles/409032) in the Workday Community for more information.

To develop Extend apps using Extend Integration with Third Party Platform Services, follow these steps to opt in to the relevant service. You must complete these steps for any tenant on which you want to use this service, including WCP Development, Implementation, and Production tenants.

1. Access the Innovation Services Opt-In task, secured to the Manage: Innovation Services domain in the Innovation Services functional area.
2. Select Extend Integration with Third Party Platform Services on the Available Services tab in the WCP category.

### Context

Company administrators can provision a Workday-provided AWS account for their Extend company, and provide users in their companies with AWS account access.

### Steps

1. Click Account on the left navigation bar of the Console on the Workday Developer Site.
2. Click the Third-Party Integrations tab.
3. Click Create AWS Organization Account.
4. Click Create AWS Organization Account again to confirm the request to provision an AWS account for your company.

The Status below AWS Integration displays Provisioning.

Note: The AWS account for your company may take up to 3 hours to create. If the Status displays Provisioning for longer than 24 hours, ask your Named Support Contact to open a Support case with Workday.

5. When the Status is Active, click Manage Users to grant users access to the Workday-provided AWS account.
6. Click Users on the left navigation bar of the Console on the Workday Developer Site.
7. Select a user to whom you want to grant access to the AWS account.
8. Select the Allow Access check box below AWS Access, and then click Save.

You can allow AWS Account access to a maximum of 15 users in your Extend company, including any Collaborators to whom you grant access.

Note: Company Administrators must grant each other access to their Extend company's AWS account.

### Next Steps

To remove a user's AWS account access, clear the Allow Access check box below AWS Access, and then click Save.

Note: Removing a user's AWS account access does not remove the user from their Extend company. However, if you remove a user from their Extend company, you also remove the user's AWS account access.
