Workday AI Gateway for Extend Professional customers is the conduit for our Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence platform that brings Workday-delivered and curated people and money Large Language Models to Extend developers. Workday AI Gateway continuously learns from Workday's trusted and highest quality set of financial and HR data, and provides APIs that:

-   Streamline information formats.
-   Handle large-volume documents.
-   Facilitate skills-based intelligent solutions.
-   Provide valuable insights for informed decision-making.
-   Automate repetitive, predictable tasks for improved accuracy and productivity.


## <a id="section_3"></a>Tenant Availability and Setup

Workday AI Gateway is available in:

-   Development tenants for all customers.
-   Non-Development tenants for Extend Professional customers.

To opt in to Innovation Services for Workday AI Gateway in non-Development tenants:

1.  Enable the Innovation Services feature and Machine Learning data contributions.

2.  On the <b>Innovation Services Opt-In</b> task, under the <b>Available Services</b> tab, select the <b>WCP</b> &gt; <b>Workday AI Gateway</b> service.
3.  On the <b>Innovation Services Data Selection Opt-In</b> task, select <b>WCP: Workday AI Gateway</b>. In the <b>Opt In</b> column, select the checkbox for these categories:

    -   Receipt Scanning for Expenses
    -   User Feature Delivery Data
    -   Time Series Data Range
    -   Generic Documents
    -   Skills Analysis Text
    -   Generic Text
    -   Resume Documents

4.  Click <b>OK</b> to complete the wizard.
5.  Access the <b>Edit Tenant Setup - Machine Learning</b> task.

    Select the region in which Workday hosts data contributed to the Machine Learning Development Environment (MLDE).

    Security: <i>Set Up: Tenant Setup - Machine Learning</i> domain in the System functional area.

    <b>Note:</b> You can assign the hosting region <i>only once</i>. If you need to change your region, contact Customer Support.
