### Prerequisites

-   Security configuration:

    - Users need access to the Workday-delivered task or report.
    - You (Extend developer) need access to view the Integration ID of the Workday-delivered task or report.

    You can use the <b>View Security for Securable Item</b> report to check the security configuration for a Workday-delivered task or report.

### Context

The `button` and the `footer` in card widgets enable users to navigate from an Extend page to a Workday-delivered task or report.

The `workdayTaskReference` attribute of these page widgets must specify the `wid` (“Workday ID” or “Integration ID”) of the Workday-delivered task or report. The Integration ID of a Workday-delivered task or report is unique within a tenant and the same across environments.

<b>Note:</b> The `workdayTaskReference` attribute can't send parameters to the Workday-delivered task or report.

### Steps

1. In Workday, get the Integration ID of the Workday-delivered task or report.
    1. In <b>Workday Search</b>, enter the name of the Workday-delivered task or report.
    2. From the search results, click the <b>Related Actions</b> menu on the task or report.
    3.  From the <b>Related Actions</b> menu, select <b>Integration IDs</b> &gt; <b>View IDs</b>.

        The Integration IDs page displays the Workday ID of the task or report.

    4. Save the Integration ID value.

2. In App Builder, open the page containing the button or card.
3. In the button or card PMD tag, add the `workdayTaskReference` attribute, which contains the `wid` of the Workday-delivered task or report.

    For a card, add the `workdayTaskReference` to the `footer`. The `taskReference`, `workdayTaskReference`, and `url` attributes are mutually exclusive. You can specify only 1 of these attributes.

    For a button, the `taskReference` and `workdayTaskReference` attributes are mutually exclusive.

4. Open <b>App Preview</b> to view the page and verify that the link works.

### Result

The link navigates to the specified Workday task or report report.

### Example

This `button` contains the `workdayTaskReference` with the `wid` of the `Benefit Plans` report.

```
{
  "type": "button",
  "label": "Benefit Plans",
  "action": "PRIMARY",
  "workdayTaskReference": {
    "wid": "dc3e1418446c11de98360015c5e6daf6"
  }
}
```

This `footer` of a `simpleCard` contains the `workdayTaskReference` with the `wid` of the `Manage Absence` task.

```
"footer": [
  {
    "label": "Manage Absence",
    "workdayTaskReference": {
      "wid": "dcf164fbbe5e10002789cb62f84f0000"
    }
  }
]
```
