## Properties

Provide a meaningful Reference Name for the step as it will appear in your orchestration.

Specify the type of Authentication your request uses. You can create authentication types on the Credentials tab in your orchestration's Settings. Types you create there are available from the drop-down menu here.

In the Report Design expression field, specify the XML that describes the PDF's design. Example: specify the output of an upstream Send Workday API Request step that obtained the XML document.

In the Report Data expression field, specify the data that you want to use in the PDF. Example: specify the output of an upstream Send Workday RaaS Request step.

The Report Design and Report Data fields are required. Those that follow are optional.

You can specify a Workday Business Form Layout WID to retrieve the images and translation data the layout contains.

Note: When you do so, Orchestrate ignores the report design associated with the Business Form Layout in favor of the design specified in the Report Design field.

Use the Locale expression field to specify the PDF's native language environment, which determines country-dependent formatting. Example: `en_US`.

Use the Language expression field to specify the language of the PDF's text and hence its text orientation. Example: `de_DE`.

Use the Timezone expression field to specify the timezone used in the PDF. Example: `US/Eastern`.

The Apply Report Design Per Row expression field contains a boolean value. Set it to `true` to specify that each row in your report data generates a page break in the PDF.

Note: Orchestrate doesn't automatically store the generated PDF. Rather, it makes the PDF available to downstream steps as this step's only output. Example: you can use a downstream Store step to attach the PDF to the integration event.
