## Purpose

Use this component to find all stored documents that share a reference ID, without needing to know their individual entry IDs. Use it together with the Store Document step's reference ID field to group documents when storing them, then fetch the group later, for example to process a batch of documents in a loop.

## Availability

This component is available in these orchestration templates:

- Integration System

It's also available in suborchestrations.

## Properties

Provide a meaningful <b>Reference Name</b> for the step as it will appear in your orchestration.

<b>General Tab</b>

In the <b>Reference Id</b> field, use <b>Expression Builder</b> to specify the reference ID to search for. This matches the reference ID that documents were stored with in a <b>Store Document</b> step.

In the <b>Collection</b> field, select the collection to search:

- <b>Launch Event Collection</b> (default): The collection of the integration event that launched the orchestration.

<b>Settings Tab</b>

Configure these request and response details:

- <b>Overall Timeout</b>: The total time allowed for the operation. The default value is 300 seconds.
- <b>Connect Timeout</b>: The time allowed for a client-server connection to establish. The default value is 10 seconds.
- <b>Response Timeout</b>: The total time allowed for receiving a response. The default value is 20 seconds.
- <b>Retry Settings</b>: Select a predefined retry policy.

## Output

If the request is successful, the component outputs a list of document metadata records. Workday pages through all matching documents automatically. Each record includes:

<table><thead><tr><th>Field</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><code>title</code></td><td>The title the document was stored under.</td></tr><tr><td><code>contentType</code></td><td>The MIME type, such as <code>application/pdf</code>.</td></tr><tr><td><code>size</code></td><td>File size in bytes.</td></tr><tr><td><code>createdOn</code></td><td>When the document was stored.</td></tr><tr><td><code>expiresOn</code></td><td>When storage expires.</td></tr><tr><td><code>collection</code></td><td>The collection the document is stored in, usable with the Retrieve Document step.</td></tr><tr><td><code>entryId</code></td><td>The document's entry id, usable with the Retrieve Document step.</td></tr></tbody></table><br/>

Document contents aren't downloaded up front. Each document is retrieved when a later step accesses it, for example when iterating the results in a loop.
